Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs chicken
  • 2 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sage
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Directions:

  1. Boil and bone chicken, keeping the broth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients into a dough.
  3. Roll 1/4 inch and cut in strips.
  4. Drop in broth and boil 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. Put chicken back in the pot with the broth and dumplings.
