Ingredients:

  • 3 -4 lbs whole chickens
  • 2 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sage
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Directions:

  1. Boil and bone chicken (keep broth chicken was boiled in).
  2. Mix together flour, eggs, milk, chopped green onions, oil, salt, sage, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Roll mixture out to 1/4 inch and cut in strips.
  4. Drop in broth and boil 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. Put chicken in pot in small batches.
  6. Simmer for a few minutes and serve hot.
