Hamburger Meatballs With Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1/4 cup. water

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients well. Make into balls (any size). Brown in small amount of fat. Put in baking dish in 375 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
  2. GRAVY FOR MEATBALLS:
  3. Drippings from hamburger
  4. 2 heaping tbsp. flour
  5. 2 c. milk
  6. 1 tsp. salt
  7. 1/2 tsp. pepper
  8. Brown slightly 2 heaping tablespoons of flour in drippings, where hamburger was fried. Add milk, salt and pepper. Cook until thick. Pour over meatballs. Serve with homemade biscuits.
