Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs hamburger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3/4-1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (28 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1 (14 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions:

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients and make patties.
  2. Your choice how big you want them.
  3. Brown them well.
  4. After they are cooked put them in a roasting pan.
  5. In separate fry pan, brown the onion slices.
  6. Put them on top of the patties.
  7. In bowl mix the last 6 ingredients and pour on top of the patties and onion slices.
  8. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
  9. Bake 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
