Ingredients:

  • 1 1/8 cups brown sugar
  • 7 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/8 cups oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/16 cup water
  • 3/4 tbsp vanilla
  • 3/4 tbsp maple flavoring

Directions:

  1. Mix the brown sugar, quick oats, salt together.
  2. Add Oil and stir.
  3. In a seperate bowl mix the all the water, vanilla and maple flavoring together and add to mixture and stir well.
  4. Put granola in a 9x13 baking dish.
  5. Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours at 350 degrees.
  6. Stir every 10-15 minutes and toward the end stire every 7-10 minutes.
  7. Granola will brown as baked but becareful to not let it get to brown. If it overly browns it will be bitter tasting and it should be sweet.
