Gorgonzola Broccoli Casserole

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350.
  2. In 5-6 quart pan over high head bring abot 3 quarts water to boil.
  3. Cook broccoli just until tender 3 - 5 minutes. Drain.
  4. Rinse and dry pan. Add 1/4 cup butter to pan and melt over medium heat.
  5. Whisk in flour until smoothly blended; cook until bubbly, about one minute.
  6. Add milk and sir over medium high heat unti thick, about 3 minutes.
  7. Add cream cheese and gorgonzola; whisk until smooth.
  8. Sitr in broccoli.
  9. Pour into shallow 2 1/2 - 3 quart casserole.
  10. In a blender or food processor, whirl bread cubes into coarse crumbs and about 1 1/3 cups.
  11. In small bowl, mix rumbs with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
  12. Sprinkle evenly over broccoli.
  13. Bake until casserole is hot in center and crumbs are golden. 20-30 mintes.
