Gingerbread Waffles (Healthy, Low Fat!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 1/4 cups skim milk or 1 1/4 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wet in another.
  2. Combine, careful not to overmix.
  3. Cook in a greased, preheated waffle iron.
  4. Top with maple syrup, caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
  5. Leftovers can be frozen, then microwaved then toasted to be served again.
