G.I. Girls Golf Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 8 slices of a good dense bread (cracker barrel's is great)

Directions:

  1. Mix dressing, lime juice and honey together.
  2. Place chicken in a gallon ziplock plastic bag and cover with marinade.
  3. Close bag and marinate for at least 2 hours, up to overnight in the fridge.
  4. Grill or braise chicken until cooked.
  5. Spread both sides of bread with butter and pan fry or grill each side until golden.
  6. Assemble sandwiches with chicken, mayo and lettuce.
