Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp lemon juice or mild vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix lemon juice and dry ingredients and add salad oil; add a small piece of ice, and beat with a silver fork or shake in a coverd jar until it is thick and creamy. Serve immediately or reshake just before serving.
  2. Spanish dressing: Add 2 TBS catsup to French dressing
  3. Roquefort Dressing: Cream 2 TBS Roquefort cheese into French dressing.
