Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook chopped bacon and onion in large pot.
  2. Cook slowly; onion should be soft but not brown.
  3. Remove onion and bacon from pot; set aside.
  4. Leave 2 tablespoons bacon fat in pot.
  5. Put potatoes in same pot.
  6. Add just enough water to cover.
  7. Cook 5-10 minutes.
  8. Add fish to pot.
  9. Cook until fish is flaky.
  10. Remove skin from fish.
  11. Thicken with flour mixed with a little water.
  12. Bring to a boil.
  13. Reduce heat until no longer boiling.
  14. Add milk, bacon and onion.
  15. Heat but do not boil.
  16. Salt and pepper to taste.
