Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Add vegetable oil to a large saucepan
  2. Sautee onions and garlic on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly (put about 1/5 of diced onions to side, don't sautee)
  3. Turn heat to medium low and add jalapenos (put one diced jalapeno on side, don't sautee)
  4. Sautee for another 4-5 minutes
  5. Add green beans, tomato can, fresh tomatoes WITH THE JUICES FROM THE CAN!!!!!
  6. Make sure vegetables are covered with liquids, if not enough liquid, add water in 1/4 cup amounts
  7. Next add steak
  8. Stir ingredients together and allow to heat up over medium heat
  9. Now add the onions and jalapenos that you put aside earlier
  10. Then add all the spices (more or less, however spicy you want it)
  11. Cover the stew and allow to cook medium-low to low for 30-40 minutes to allow flavors to mingle
  12. Serve over white rice and squeeze a lime on top!
  13. For the rice:
  14. Add 1 part rice, 2 parts water to a saucepan
  15. Add vegetable oil
  16. Allow to boil
  17. Turn down to low rolling boil, cover
  18. Allow to cook for 20-25 minutes
  19. Check to make sure the rice is consistently soft
  20. Serve with stew on top
  21. Enjoy. this dish will have your taste buds kickin.
