  1. Prepare Minute rice to equal 2 cups when done.
  2. Heat black-eyed peas and add a little water if needed and about two tablespoons bacon grease.
  3. After rice is ready and peas cooked
  4. To look like soup beans mix these together and serve with ham if desired.
