Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Roll out pastry sheet on surface to remove creases
  3. Brush sheet with water
  4. Starting at one edge, roll up pastry tightly, jelly roll style
  5. Cut into generous 1/4 inch thick rounds
  6. Put sugar on plate
  7. Dip each cookie into sugar
  8. Place on baking sheet, sugar side up, tucking end under
  9. Press center of each round with back end of spoon, making a small well
  10. Put 1 tsp. of jam or preserve into each well
  11. Sprinkle with additional sugar
  12. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes
