Dumplings And Cheater Chicken Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsps milk
  • 1 can or 1 package of chicken noodle soup

Directions:

  1. Cook the soup, following the labels directions.
  2. While the soup is heating, mix together the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. Add the butter and mix with your hands until it is fine and crumbly
  4. Add the milk and kneed until smooth.
  5. This should take about 1 minute.
  6. Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, until it is between 1/4 and 1/2 inches thick.
  7. Cut it into small squares.
  8. Drop the squares into the hot soup and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes
