Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to Gas 4/360F degrees.
  2. Grease and line a 6 inch tin.
  3. Sift flour, salt and spice together.
  4. Add fat to dry ingredients.
  5. Rub until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  6. Stir in sugar add beaten egg and milk/water mix.
  7. Beat well for a minute.
  8. Add dried fruit.
  9. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.
