Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and 1 tsp cinnamon
  3. Blend in the vanilla, egg and butter until dough forms
  4. Pour the 3 tbsp cinnamon onto cookie sheet
  5. Take about 1 tbsp dough and roll into 5 inch tube
  6. Dip one side of the dough roll into the cinnamon on the cookie sheet
  7. Twist roll up into a cinnamon bun like figure
  8. Place on separate cookie sheet
  9. Bake 7-10 minutes
  10. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to create icing.
  11. Drizzle icing over cookies as desired
