Cheesy Chicken Salad- With Dill

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. - cheddar cheese diced into small pieces.
  • 1/2 cup- diced onion diced in small pieces
  • 2 medium dill pickles chopped in small pieces.
  • a bout a 1/8 tsp. of dill weed
  • 1 tsp of garlic chopped- i use what you buy in the jar.
  • 1 1/2 cup. of mayonaise
  • 1 stock of celery chopped finely.
  • add pepper to taste.
  • optional- 3/4cup. sliced olives , broccli chopped in small pieces or a tomatoe diced in small pieces. you do not have to add these last three ingredients.

Directions:

  1. BOIL CHICKEN THEN DICE IN ABOUT NICKLE SIZE PIECES. THEN PLACE INTO A LARGE BOWL. SET ASIDE WHILE YOU CHOP UP THE REST OF THE VEGETABLES.
  2. NOW AFTER CHOPPING UP THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS PUT IN THE BOWL WITH THE CHICKEN.
  3. THEN TAKE AND MIX THE MAYONAISE AND DILL WEED AND PEPPER (TO YOUR TASTE )TOGETHER IN A BOWL . POUR OVER THE CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES AND MIX WELL.
  4. YOU CAN SERVE THIS ALONE OR ON A BED OF LETTICE OR ON A TOMATOE YOU HAVE CUT IN CROSS SECTIONS. I SERVE IT ON CRACKER SOME TIMES FOR A SNACK. i also serve it in pita bread or in wraps. also grapes or apple can be chopped and added to salad.
