Burgers & Onion Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, sliced into rings
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Directions:

  1. Spray skillet with PAM.
  2. Place over low heat to warm.
  3. Form patties (3-4 ) with the hamburger meat and place warm skillet.
  4. Sprinkle salt& Pepper over patties.
  5. Turn burner to medium-high and brown patties for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Turn patties over and reduce heat.
  7. Add onions to skillet and cover.
  8. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until meat is done and onions are translucent.
  9. Remove patties and onions from the skillet.
  10. *Ifthere isn't enough goodies in the skillet, add oil.
  11. There should be about 1-2 tbsp.
  12. Of oil altogether.
  13. Add flour and salt and pepper to taste.
  14. Stir to mix flour and oil.
  15. Continue stiring into flour is a deep golden brown.
  16. Add milk and combine with flour mixture.
  17. Return meat and onions to the gravy.
  18. Remove from heat as the gravy thickens.
  19. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
