Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 loaf stale bread, cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chopped ham or 1 cup sausages or 1 cup bacon ( breakfast meat)

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in heavy skillet over low coals.
  2. Toss in bread cubes and stir until lightly browned.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over bread cubes.
  4. Cook over medium coals until set and browned on the bottom.
  5. Serve immediately.
