Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Grease a 13x9x2 pan.
  3. Warm berries in a saucepan until the juices run.
  4. Reserve 1 cup of the juice, adding water if needed.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
  6. Stir in the blackberries and set aside.
  7. Combine all dry ingredients except margarine.
  8. Then, cut in the margarine until crumbly.
  9. Press 2/3 (about 4 cups) of the mixture into prepared pan.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Cool slightly.
  12. Spread blackberry sauce over this crust.
  13. Crumble remaining batter over this and press lightly.
  14. Bake for another 20-25 minutes.
