Basil Garlic New Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash the potatoes, place in large kettle, cover with water.
  2. Bring to a slow boil and then simmer until potatoes are fork tender.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. After potatoes are cold, quarter them.
  5. Place the margarine or clarified butter and minced garlic in a large fry pan.
  6. Heat until margarine is melted.
  7. Add the cold potato quarters and heat over medium burner, tossing to cover with margarine.
  8. Heat through, stirring gently but frequently.
  9. Do not brown.
  10. Toss with shredded basil.
  11. Serve hot.
