Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 4 cups water

Directions:

  1. Heat water in medium saucepan until boiling. Stir in rice. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, crumble ground lamb. Cook over medium heat just until lamb is cooked through but not browned. Remove from heat. Drain and rinse to remove excess fat. Allow to cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl or in the same large skillet combine rice, lamb and flaxseed oil. Stir to combine completely.
  4. Package into individual meals. This should keep for 3 days in the refrigerator. Freeze any meals that won’t be used within that time.
