Applesauce Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Add butter and sugar to a mixing bowl; mix until well combined.
  2. Add in egg, mix to combine.
  3. Mix together the cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, salt, and flour in another bowl; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing to blend well.
  4. Add in applesauce and raisins; stir to combine.
  5. Transfer batter to a greased/floured 9-inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake in a 350° oven for 45-60 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
