  4. SKIM OFF FAT
  5. MIX CORNSTARCH WITH 1/4 CUP WATER, ADD TO CHILI, MIX WELL, ADD BEANS, COVER AND COOK ANOTHER 30 MINUTES OVER LOW HEAT, REMOVE BAY LEAF;
  6. AND SERVE WITH TORTILLA CHIPS OR CRACKERS
