Tammy's Perfect Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tsp canola oil

Directions:

  1. Sift Flour and Sugar together to remove lumps.
  2. Add baking powder and salt.
  3. Stir in Corn meal.
  4. Add eggs, milk and butter.
  5. Mix until smooth.
  6. Grease or use cooking spray in bottom of pan before adding mixture.
  7. Bake in a 9x9x2 pan 425 until golden brown for approx 20-25 minuets.
  8. Serve either hot or let cool to room temperature.
