Tammy's Perfect Cornbread

I got this recipe from a friend of mine over 10 years ago. I have used it a few times now with Chili or even other soups.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup cornmeal
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup soft margarine
3 teaspoons canola oil
Directions:
1. Sift Flour and Sugar together to remove lumps.
2. add baking powder and salt.
3. Stir in Corn meal.
4. add eggs, milk and butter.
5. mix until smooth.
6. Grease or use cooking spray in bottom of pan before adding mixture.
7. bake in a 9x9x2 pan 425 until golden brown for approx 20-25 minuets.
8. Serve either hot or let cool to room temperature.
