Swiss Chard with Almonds and Shallots

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp thinly sliced shallots
  • 3 cups sliced swiss chard (about 3 oz)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp slivered almonds, toasted

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shallots; cook 2 minutes or until shallots begin to brown, stirring frequently. Stir in chard. Cover and cook 2 minutes or until chard wilts. Remove from heat; stir in salt and black pepper. Sprinkle with almonds.
