Sweet Soy-Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 medium garlic cloves, minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Directions:

  1. 1.Simmer all of the ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat until syrupy, about 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before serving. (The sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 day.).
