Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix sweet potatoes and margarine in a medium bowl; stir in 2/3 cup milk.
  2. Mix in 1 3/4 cup flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt. Mix in remaining 1/4 cup flour if dough is too sticky to handle easily.
  3. Knead dough on floured surface 5 to 6 times. Roll on floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness; cut into 18 biscuits with a 2-inch cutter.
  4. Place close together on baking sheet. Brush lightly with milk and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  5. Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes.
