Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
  3. In a mixer bowl beat butter on medium speed of an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  4. Add egg and milk; beat well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture and beat till well combined.
  6. Stir in raisins, nuts, and candied cherries.
  7. Drop dough from a rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till done. Cool on a wire rack.
