Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Brown the sausage in a medium skillet. Drain. When cool enough to handle, put in food processor and pulse to a fine consistency. Return to pan. Add the chili powder, cumin and salt. Rewarm and set aside.
  2. Spread a thin layer of refried beans or bean dip over the bottom of a platter or shallow, heat-proof bowl .
  3. Then spread a layer of chips over the beans, top with a layer of cheese, sausage, onion, tomato, peppers and olives. Repeat until all the ingredients are used. I try to get 4 layers.
  4. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Serve warm with sour cream and Guacamole Dip, if desired.
