Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except for brown sugar and beat on medium speed for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour batter into greased loaf pan and generously sprinkle top with brown sugar.
  3. Bake at 350 F for 55-65 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
  5. Slice when cool.
