South African Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread , torn
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Mix bread with milk; set aside.
  2. Sauté onions, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar, and apple in butter.
  3. Mix into meat.
  4. Add bread, egg and raisins. Mix gently by hand.
  5. Form into loaf on baking sheet.
  6. Bake one hour at 350°.
