Skillet Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cans (11-1/2 oz each) tomato juice (about 2-3/4 cups)
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 to 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package (7 oz) spaghetti

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the water, tomato juice, tomato paste and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Add uncooked spaghetti.
  2. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the spaghetti is tender, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with cheese if desired. Yield: 4-6 servings.
