Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl mix together ground round, seasoned salt and pepper and garlic salt to taste.
  3. In the bottom of a 13 by 9-inch pyrex pan form 1/2 meat mixture into a free form/oval shape.
  4. Place eggs end to end across meat lengthwise.
  5. Arrange remaining 1/2 meat covering eggs.
  6. With a fork, score meat all the way around.
  7. Pour tomato sauce over top and around meat loaf.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  9. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, cut into slices and serve at table. Note: This recipe is all about presentation! You'll hear lots of, Wows! when the first halved egg appears.
  10. Note: When I made this, I thought the texture was heavy and slightly rubbery. It might help to add in 1 cup of rolled oats or bread crumbs. This is up to you! I have never tried it.
