Seared Brussels Sprouts Braised With Apple Cider

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Trim Brussels sprouts and cut in half. Heat a cast iron pan over medium flame. Add some oil.
  2. Sprinkle salt over the bottom of the pan. Lay Brussels sprouts, cut side down, in the pan.
  3. Cook until deep brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add apple cider, cover pan, and turn off heat. Let them continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
