Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 220co
  2. In a large bowl sift together all the dry ingredients
  3. Then add milk and butter
  4. With a knife cut the wet ingredients in with dry until all comes together
  5. In the bowl knead dough lightly to form a ball then leave to rest for 4 minutes under a damp cloth
  6. Lightly flour bench and once rested turn out onto lightly floured bench top
  7. Roll out dough to about 4cm thick and using a pastry cutter or knife cut pastry into round disc like shapes or any shape of your desire
  8. Brush tops of scones with a little milk and sprinkle a little light brown sugar if desired and bake for 10 minutes
