Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 lime , juice of
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • tabasco sauce (1-2 dashes or to taste)
  • premium tequila, to taste (commerativo or herradura)

Directions:

  1. Mix all the sangrita ingredients together and chill for at least 2 hours (needs to be very cold).
  2. Serve the sangrita in a highball glasses (can garnish with a fresh chile pepper and a sprinkle of cumin).
  3. Serve the tequila in shot glasses beside the rosy sangrita.
