Ingredients:

  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 can of beer
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Fry bacon in a large pot until crisp, drain all but 1 tablespoon of drippings.
  2. Saute onion and garlic in reserved bacon drippings until soft.
  3. Add all the rest of the ingredients and slowly simmer for about 30 minutes, until thick.
