  1. Fruit Mixture:
  2. Drain raspberries, add water to reserved syrup to make 1 cup. In a saucepan combine, sugar, cornstarch, and spice; stir in syrup mixture. Cook and stir till thick and bubbly. Stir in berries and pears, heat through. Pour into a 1 1/2 qy. round baking dish.
  3. Batter:
  4. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, andsalt. Mix egg, sour cream and butter; add to flour mixture, blend well. Drop by spoonfuls atop fruit mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
