Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp mace
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, eggs, pumpkin and oil, mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the other dry ingredients, mix together then add slowly to the pumpkin mixture.
  3. Add chopped nuts.
  4. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and fill pans.
  5. Bake at 350 for 1 – 1-1/4 hours.
