Pulled Chicken on a Ciabata Bun

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Bring the chicken broth to a slow boil in a shallow pan.
  2. Add chicken breasts and simmer both sides, about 5-6 minutes each side.
  3. In a bowl, add ingredients from brown sugar to cumin and set aside.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. Add bacon, chili pepper and onions to the broth and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. In a separate pan, sautee mushrooms in butter, garlic salt, garlic plus, and soy sauce, place in oven on warm.
  7. In a separate pan, sautee the peppers in butter, place in oven on warm.
  8. Once chicken has cooled to the touch, pull it apart with a dull knife, should pull apart in strands.
  9. Add chicken and mixture in bowl to the broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
  10. Add flour to chicken until mixture is thickened.
  11. Slice buns in half.
  12. Spoon chicken onto buns, top with sauteed peppers, mushrooms and cheddar.
  13. Place bottoms onto pan and broil until cheese is melted and just starting to brown.
  14. Remove and serve.
  15. Enjoy!
