Perfect Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz) package coconut flakes (5 1/3 cups)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in a bowl.
  4. Stir in egg whites and whichever extract you choose, until blended.
  5. Spoon mixture into balls.
  6. Place on cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until edges of the cookies are golden brown.
  8. Remove immediately from cookie sheet.
  9. Cool completely on wire rack.
