Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring your water to boil. Add your pasta and cook al dente (about 9 minutes).
  2. Just before your water begins to boil, heat up your butter/oil over med-high heat in a frying pan.
  3. Add your diced garlic and sautee for a few minutes. Be careful not to BURN your garlic.
  4. Add your broccoli and stir.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and red pepper flakes to taste and stir.
  6. Reduce heat to med.
  7. Add small amounts of water to your frying pan to steam your broccoli. As the water evaporates, add a small amount more. Cover. Keep checking on it to make sure you don't burn it or the pan doesn't go dry. Keep adding water as needed (small amounts at a time).
  8. Cook until desired tenderness. Drain any excess water you have, but most, if not all, should have evaporated.
  9. Add your drained, cooked pasta, toss and sprinkle with parmesean cheese. Enjoy!
