Nana's Crispy Beef and Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz medium- wide noodles
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups beef or 2 cups pork roast , slivered
  • 1 tsp dry basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Boil water for noodles and cook noodles until al dente.
  2. While waiting for the water to boil, combine olive oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is crisp and browned, about 5 minutes
  3. Add parsley, basil, salt, oregano,and pepper. Cook just until parsley begins to turn limp.
  4. Drain noodles and place in shallow serving bowl.
  5. Spoon sauce over noodles and toss lightly. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and serve.
