Maw-Maw Gilman's Peanut Banana Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 -8 large bananas, sliced

Directions:

  1. Over low-medium heat, cook the egg, sugar, vinegar, water and butter until thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Layer in serving bowl, alternating bananas, nuts and sauce.
  3. Cool.
