Ingredients:

  1. Heat broiler. Coat broiler pan with non-stick spray. Soak 20 wooden6 bamboo skewers in warm water for 20 mins.. Combine maple syrup and barbecue sauce. Set aside
  2. Cut bacon in half crosswise. In batches,cook bacon in skillet over med heat about 3 mins per side until lightly cooked but still flexible. Place on paper towels,let cool. Cut onion into wedges,seperate pieces. Microwave 20 pieces on a plate on High 30 sec.
  3. Cut chicken into 20 pieces,1 each.Wrp cooked bacon around chicken pieces. Thread 1 onion piece onto skewer,then chicken,then pineapple. Repeat for all skewers. Divide maple bbq sauce in half Brush skewers with half the sauce.
  4. Broil skewers 4 from heat for 4 mins.remove from oven and turn over. Brush with remaining sauce. Broil 4 more mins. Serve warm
  5. Note: You can buy cored,peeled pineapple in grocery produce section. Skewers can be cooked in advance,covered and refrigerated. To serve,heat in microwave till warm.
