Mango, Chili, and Lime Shake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder (to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream , softened until just melty at the edges (vanilla bean or original)
  • 2 cups sorbet , softened until just melty at the edges

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients, Pulse several times to begin breaking up ice cream and sorbet.
  2. With blender off, use a silicone spatula to mash ice cream and sorbet mixture onto blades.
  3. Continue pulsing and stopping to mash until mixture is thick, smooth and moves easily in blender, about 1 minute.
