Low-Fat Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup medium grain rice
  • 2 liters 1% low-fat milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine milk and rice in a large pot.
  2. Turn on medium burner.
  3. Cook for 1 hour.
  4. When its 2/3 to 3/4 done, add sugar.
  5. After it has cooked for 1 hour, add vanilla.
  6. While cooking, stir occasionally, especially towards the end.
  7. All done!
  8. Note: i sprinkle a small amount of sugar into the milk and rice.
