  2. In a large pot boil salted water
  3. Add kale
  4. Cook until only tender (do not overcook)
  5. Put in ice bath to retain color
  6. Drain

  9. In a hot skillet place bacon that has been cut into bite size pieces
  10. As the bacon renders add
  11. Circular sliced red onion pieces
  12. Sliced garlic
  13. Sliced porcini mushrooms

  15. Place kale in a warmed bowl
  16. Add all other ingredients
  17. Gently fold in

  19. Serve hot with slices of garlic bread right from the oven
